GuitarShred is designed to function as a local tool for musicians.

• Personal Information: The App and the Website do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, name, or phone number. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII).
• Practice Data: Any data you enter into the app — including exercise names, BPM settings, and practice logs— is stored locally on your device using an internal database (Room). This data is used solely to provide the App's features, such as displaying your practice statistics and history.

2. Data Storage and Security

Because all data is stored locally on your device:
 

• We do not have access to your practice history.
• Your data is not synced to any external servers or "cloud" storage owned by us.
• If you delete the App, all locally stored data will be permanently removed from your device. 

3. Third-Party Services

The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. We do not share any information with third parties.

4. Permissions

The App may request standard Android permissions to function correctly (such as notification permissions for the metronome or storage access for data export features). These permissions are used only for their stated purpose and never to collect personal information.

Since we do not collect any personal information, GuitarShred is safe for use by individuals of all ages. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect data from children.
